Summary

The Microsoft 365 Technical Adoption Manager is responsible for ensuring customers realize the full value of their investment in Microsoft 365 services. You will act as a trusted advisor, guiding customers through their digital transformation journey by understanding their business objectives and helping them achieve their goals through the effective use of Microsoft 365 technologies.

You will be responsible for driving the adoption and usage of Microsoft 365 products and services within the organization. The role involves collaborating with business stakeholders, IT leaders, and end users to understand their needs, challenges, and goals, and to design and implement solutions that leverage the full potential of Microsoft 365. The Microsoft 365 Adoption Manager also monitors and measures the impact and outcomes of the adoption initiatives, and provides feedback and recommendations for continuous improvement.

Responsibilities

  • Develop a deep understanding of the customer’s business environment and their technology landscape.
  • Foster strong relationships with customer stakeholders to understand their needs and align them with Microsoft 365 capabilities.
  • Drive the adoption and usage of Microsoft 365 services within the customer’s organization.
  • Provide guidance on best practices, governance, and change management to ensure a successful Microsoft 365 deployment.
  • Collaborate with the sales team to identify upsell and cross-sell opportunities within the customer base.
  • Monitor customer health metrics and develop strategies to address any adoption or satisfaction issues.
  • Deliver regular reports and insights to customers and internal stakeholders on the progress of Microsoft 365 adoption and value realization.
  • Stay current with Microsoft 365 updates and new features to act as an expert advisor to customers.
  • Develop and execute a Microsoft 365 adoption strategy and roadmap that aligns with the organization’s vision, mission, and objectives.
  • Identify and prioritize the business scenarios and use cases that can benefit from Microsoft 365 solutions, such as collaboration, communication, productivity, security, and compliance.
  • Create and deliver engaging and effective training and awareness programs that educate and empower end users to adopt and use Microsoft 365 tools and features.
  • Establish and manage a network of champions and advocates who can support and promote the adoption of Microsoft 365 across the organization.
  • Track and analyze the adoption and usage metrics and trends, and report on the value and benefits of Microsoft 365 solutions.
  • Identify and resolve any issues or barriers that may hinder the adoption and usage of Microsoft 365.
  • Stay updated on the latest developments and best practices of Microsoft 365, and share insights and learnings with the organization.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in business, IT, or related field, or equivalent work experience.
  • Proven experience in customer success, account management, or a similar role in a technology environment.
  • Strong understanding of Microsoft 365 services and their application in business scenarios.
  • Experience in managing and leading Microsoft 365 adoption projects or programs.
  • Strong knowledge and understanding of Microsoft 365 products and services, such as Teams, SharePoint, OneDrive, Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint, OneNote, Planner, Yammer, Stream, and Power Platform.
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills, with the ability to tailor the message to different audiences and levels.
  • Strong collaboration and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build and maintain positive relationships with stakeholders and end users.
  • Proven ability to drive change and influence behavior across the organization.
  • Certification in Microsoft 365 Fundamentals, Microsoft 365 Modern Desktop Administrator, or Microsoft 365 Teamwork Administrator is preferred.
  • Analytical mindset with the ability to translate data into actionable insights.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.
